can someone please help me ihave a toshiba sd 220e multiregion dvd it plays everything i`ve tried but while it recognises and plays mp3 discs i cant get any sound out of it any help much appreciated

Have you tried both analogue and digi outputs?

Connect it to some sort of amplifier or stereo!!

yeah tried both the dvd`s connected to a marantz receiver and plays cd`s dvd`s wav`s no problem its just mp3`s i cant hear
