Page 1 of dabs.com & LG 3350e

I`ve just spoken to Dabs regarding their next delivery of the LG machines. Apparently they `might`(?) be receiving 57 tomorrow morning, and have 48 reserved for people who have ordered one since the last delivery. I`m waiting for one, so hopefully they should be delivered by the weekend..........

Just noticed the dabs site is quoting 3-4 weeks for delivery (was 1-2 days this morning!). Will we get lucky or not?????

Well a guy posted here earlier this week who had ordered on 2nd and got his on 12th, so I`m hoping that as somebody who ordered on 4th I`ll be one of the lucky ones.

I was depressed when I saw the 3-4 weeks because I spoke to Dabs at 09:30 this morning and they said that they didn`t know when they were going to get any, so some coming tomorrow is REALLY GOOD NEWS (I hope).

When I phoned last week they told me this Wednesday. Although lets hope they get some in tomorrow! But I think everyone`s been told different things by dabs so who knows!

When I looked at their site I saw 3-4 and assumed days but then I read it here it was actually 3-4 weeks which is far too long so I`ll probably cancel my order if it doesn`t arrive by this weekend.

I got an email from dabs at 2am this morning advising me that the arrival date of the LGs will now be the 1st Feb..... So I think that they basically don`t know, or are getting messed about by their suppliers. I await further news!

It now says 3-4 weeks(!) on their website.

Sod that, I`ll give them a call.

I have just checked the web site it now says 6 available in 2-3 days.
So I phoned to see if my order will be dispatched. I was told that they will not be getting any more in stock until 1st Feb.

This is pants.......I can buy a PS2 now (and they were selling at £1000+ just before Christmas.

Come on LG pull the finger out.

They removed that pretty quickly since it is not there now. I will just wait patiently and maybe contact Barclaycard and get them to give dabs a kick up the arse.

Strange... sort of true, but the main lg dvd product page says 3-4 weeks, the info window (clicking the i button) shows 6 available in 1-3 days, 0 right now. Something`s getting a little out of sync here, Dabs.... what is it? Who knows what`s really happening?? Will this machine be obsolete by the time we get it? Will it arrive tomorrow and surprise me? I suspect not.

I have emailed dabs, given them a link to this thread, and asked them to clarify the true position. If they reply to me direct rather than post a reply here, I will cut`n`paste it into this forum.

Just got an email from the seriuqne[at]moc.sbad and there is no chance, short of a minor miracle, of getting a LG machine before 1st Feb, although I have been told I will get one from that batch.
