Page 1 of Help ! - I`m getting a headache choosing a player

Help me out folks !
I`m looking for my first player and am able to spend up to £250. I doubt I will buy DVD`s as I don`t watch films over and over again. I`ll just be renting discs from the local blockbuster.
I was looking at the Wharfedale DVD750, but they don`t some in silver.
I`ve just spent a small fortune on a silver Hitachi telly with virtual dolby surround and a new silver SKY box so it`s got to be a silver DVD player.
The LG3350 looks to be highly recommended but is it OK to use one with a telly that doesn`t have speakers all over the room ? Is it a waste of the players capability ?. If the LG3350 is the one to go for then can anyone recommend somewhere to buy it ? I`m ain`t waiting 3-4 weeks so dabs is out. Currys want £250 for it.
Any help on this ( to me ) baffling subject would be appreciated.

Hey why not get a Toshiba SD-100e?? Curry`s have a really good deal on at the moment under £200!! It`s a really good player (i have it :O) Anyway the pictures great and it is silver!!!!!!!!!!!

Why Not Get The Medion Player From Aldi ,It`s Only 99 Quid And Produces Results As Good As Sony,Panasonic Etc.And Is Also Multi Region Capable,From The Remote Control, It Also Looks Very Smart ,Being Silver,Also Plays Mp3,Svcd Etc, The Machine Uses Panasonic Parts,And Is Very Quiet In Operation.

you can`t get the medion anymore. aldi doesn`t stock it until.... wait for it..... next christmas!!! can you believe it???

anyway, check out the pioneer 530... silver and at 179 pounds multiregion. has everything you would want from a player...
