Page 1 of Picture problems when using lecson and Toshiba

I have a lecson and a toshiba tv (5yr old).

When I am watching 6th Sense and Matrix approx every 10 seconds the brightness changes.

I am connected via a scart directly into the TV (as directed) but still the problem occurs.

The lecson is set for auto PAL but the intial screen ie. DVD Video screen has some resolution issues.
If I try and make the screen PAL60 the resolution improves but I still get the problems.

PLEASE HELP !!!!!

hmmmm i`m not entirely sure what your problem is but is sounds as if our old friend macrovision is interfering in some way. do you have your dvd player hooked straight to your t.v. or is is routed via your video recorder as the latter may explain your problem
