Page 1 of BARGAIN OF THE YEAR?

I recently bought the ROADSTAR dvd karaoke player from ARGOS for my daughter as it played dvd karaoke and cdg karaoke as well (it also plays other formats).I was so impressed with the machine I bought one for myself for downstairs in my living room so it could be connected to my hi-fi (being it was the holiday season and all that, few beers upset the neighbours you get the drift)Well I was tinkering around today (with the player) and guess what I found out about this machine. Not only is it multi-region...THE MACROVISION, CGMS IS ALSO DISABLED straight out of the box and I was able to record straight onto my panny E50.Is this a bargain machine or what? £99.99 for pure backup pleasure.Hope this find will help someone out there

Could you please tell me wether this machine plays dvd-r as well :)

Italian Job scalextric in M&S for £39 in the post christmas sale - saved £40. It had been the Alien boxset before that which a colleague, my brother in law to be and myself have all enjoyed.
