Having previously decided on a Panasonic E50, I have just been reading about new Sony HD models being released in Japan.

Does anyone know how difficult it would be to get one to work in the UK?

Im in Japan in May and could quite easily bring one back.

If it`s 240V mains (or multi voltage, but I think most Jap stuff is 110 or 120, like the American stuff), and capable of PAL I (I think) in and out, with a scart, it`d be a plug in job.

however, Japan is usually NTSC, don`t think it`d do the UK PAL ( which I think is PAL I), and very doubtful on the voltage....*unless* they`ve let up a bit and decided to make one unit for the world market...
