Panasonic DVD Recorder - Can you?

I`m thinking of buying a DVD recorder. The Panasonic variety seems to have good reviews but I cannot seem to find out the following - is there a picture zoom feature (common on most DVD players but seemingly absent from recorders) and is there any PDC on the VideoPlus? Any input from current users very welcolm.... If not - does anyone know if any other manufacturers offer this functionality? Thanks in anticipation...

There is no picture zoom feature. Don`t know about the videoplus though.

pdc on the e50 it works a treat to not got zoom or eject or time left on a playing dvd >:(
excellent unit though

Agree`d.
No zoom, but PDC exists with the V+ on all models (not that I know anyone using it).
