Page 1 of speakers

I have the LG home cinema speakers from argos but i have been given some Eltax alpha speakers that were bought in richer sounds.The question is would i be able to connect the eltax speakers to the LG subwoofer and would i notice any difference in the sound does the sound quality come from the amp or the speakers or both?.

would have thought you would have tried to plug them in already depends on the connections, on anohter point was looking into getting the lg`s what are they like, main reason for me getting them is the coxial and optical sockets, need both for dvd player and sky plus, also dont want sep amp and woofer tight for space.
