Logix3000 - What do you think?

canary (Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 10th March 2001, 18:38

Just been out and bought an LG Logix3000 player for £150. It seems good to me, playing every disc I throw at it. It has been all region enabled out of the box and i`ve tested it with R1 discs too which play perfectly.

Although the picture quality & sound seem excellent to me, I havn`t really seen many other players working. How does the quality of mine compare to the nearest competition? I havn`t seen many with all the features this has.

I`d be glad for a few opinions, but go easy!

The picture of my mates logix 3000 looks very good .It appears that there is 2 logix 3000,s the one you have which can play region 1 and the one that plays only region 2 and all regions also known as region free.[the discs that are not coded for any region and can play on any machine in any country. But to look at they look the same.If you check out the makers web site they have the latest chip burning updates but not for the machine that cannot play region 1.Hope this may be of interest.
