Page 1 of Does RCE affect Logix dvd3000??????

I am about to buy Charlies angels, but don`t want it to arrive and not work. My Logix has firmware 2.07, will it be affected, if so what can I do??

The answer is yes.

You should be able to select the region you want manually as this is the same machine as the Scan. Try this

Region Code Changing

To change the region code power on the DVD Player and press:

OPEN, SETUP, x, 2, 0, 1, 0, STEP, SHUFFLE, NEXT

Where x is the number of region you want to change to.

1 = Region 1 (USA)
2 = Region 2 (GB)
9 = Auto Select.

This sets the default Region number for when the player is powered on.

The answer is yes and no, if you can change the region then yes you can.
but some of the logix will no let you change the region.
