Main points being + or - R discs need to be finalised (write protected) before playing in a player, whereas + or - R dont.

The other is that the Mico doesnt like the media you are using, try the discs in another player (after you have finalised them) & see if that works.

Try a different brand for your next burning project.

Personally found Memorex give very little trouble all round (buying in packets of 5 for £5.99 at WHS expensive way of doing it perhaps, but it beats buying in bulk & then finding they wont burn\play).

Kiran,

I have a Mico Diamante player and find that Datawrite Yellow 4x DVD-Rs play back fine on it. They usually cost less than a tenner for a 25-disc spindle from SVP or Bigpockets.

If you only have a DVD+R compatible writer on your PC, any of the Datawrite or Arita plus format discs have worked fine for me in the past - they just tend to be a little more expensive.

Jon
Have you had any joy using DVD+RW or DVD-RW on your diamante?
Any info on brands of disks or burner you might have used would be gratefully recieved.
Cheers

Small correction to my post

My Mico reads +\- finilised disc`s, but will only write to +R(W) naturally.

I`ve found the Mico to be very `tolerant` of any disc I`ve asked it to record on-I`m sure ti would write to cardboard if I cut it to the right size!!!

This going to be a finalisation issue, I`d think.
