Page 1 of Which player is best for me?
Hardware Forum
Hi,
I`m new the to the world of DVDs, and am seeking some advice as to which player would be best for me. I am after a player that:
1) costs less than £300, preferably less than £250
2) Plays Region 1 either out of the box or by entering a code. I don`t want one that will self-destruct after 5 code entries.
3) Preferably available in high street shops so I can take it back easily if there are any probs.
It`s not going to be connected to a sound system or even a particularly good TV for the forseeable future, so audio extras aren`t really that important.
Any suggestions?
thanks in advance

RE: Which player is best for me?
Check out the shop: Richer Sounds- wicked prices, they are found in most cities and any prob`s with your player you can thake it back. Go to www.richersounds.com, for players they have.
I bought my Dvd player reduced form £200 down to £125 and it is wicked!
Good luck
Chris
If you read all the problems and troubles people have within this forum you will see that they all stem from buying cheaper DVD players, why not go that bit extra and get a good named one like SONY735 and have no worries.
RE: Which player is best for me?
Dont knock the cheap players just because they`re cheap. there are some really good budget players out there, and some crap ones. there are also some really good hi end players, and some crap ones.
choose wisely and do your research. and get as much up to date information about the players as you can.
And when you have done that, go out and buy the Sony!
