RE: Legality of a parking fine in a supermarket car park

Hi, if you want proper advice go to www.pepipoo.com they are lawyers that will tell you what to do for FREE, as for this parking fine, forget it, they cannot take you to court for any money as it is not legal, have a look at the site for parking and then tell ALL your friends, pass it round, they cannot fine you, only courts can issue fines. Hope this helps, Brian.

RE: Some questions for any fellow guitar players....

Have you ever thought of using "Gibson" medium strings? I used Gibsons on my 61 Strat in the 60s and they gave me a very nice Fender sound, I use them today and still think they`re the best.

RE: wireless burglar alarm

I have a wireless alarm which was fitted by a company and it is very reliable, never goes off when it shouldn`t, cannot be jammed like the older ones could, they are a lot better than they used to be, you can add to it if you want to ie: extra zones or inform the police or even phone you to tell you the alarm is going off, ours was very well fitted but there are cowboys about so go to a reputable company and all will be well. Hope this helps.

RE: Are BT phones as good as Panasonic?

We have had Panny Dect phones for 5yrs now and NEVER had any probs with them, ours take AA rechargeables and these are the only thing we`ve had to change. Hope this helps.

Yes it`s back on More 4 on Mon 8th May, I think it`s a great series and a pity they stopped it.

RE: Guitar question?

Yes you can so long as it has a double cut away so as to reach the top notes also if it has a tremerlo arm that will have to be removed so as to not get in the way, Hendrix did a fine job and he played his upside down.

RE: What the hell is with kids these days?

We reap what we sow, we do not smack naughty kids at school or at home, spare the rod and spoil the child.

NO, the voltage is 110v in USA and 240v here you will blow the transformer, get a UK one that OUTPUTS the same as the USA one then make sure of the polarity to the phone, it will then charge the phone. Hope this helps.

RE: Children in need.

It makes me sick to think that in this day and age in this country we STILL have children in need, it`s about time the powers that be spent our money in the right places to put an end to it. Sorry to go on.

RE: Disabled parking.

I am disabled and am glad I can use a parking bay near to a shop, many able bodied people can walk a few yds and still feel ok but I need to be near to the shop I want to go to. It get me angry when I see able bodied people in a disabled bay, so heartless. I agree that to go over a bridge and not pay is wrong and as yet have not found one, I always pay. Please give a thought for the genuine disabled, we don`t have a choice and would rather be like the rest of you.

Help Please? How to unlock a PAYG Nok 3410???

Can anybody help me? I need to unlock my Nokia 3410 so I can put a Spanish card in when I go on holiday, I have heared that this can be done by putting a code in which is supposed to be better than doing it with a computer ( Safer ) Does anybody either know of a place I can get the codes or know the code to help me, I cannot do a lot of running around as I`m disabled so over the comp would be better. Many thanks for any replies I may get.

RE: Need a new telephone supplier.. can I have some suggestions please?

I have Tesco and they charge £5 a month and you can make unlimited calls from 6 at night to 8am and all weekend, for a bit more you can get unlimited anytime, I find them very good.

RE: BT Together Option 1 - new call plan - a rip off for people using other telecom providers?

If you pay the line charge by standing order you get the £1 a month back.

RE: SKY + Connections

The optical output from the Sky+ should go to the amp NOT the DVD player, you have made a loop and that`s probably why your not getting any picture.

RE: Epson C60 - Best compatible ink cartridge brand?

I ALWAYS get mine from Choice Stationary and have never had any prob`s, good fast service and they guarantee it to be of good qual. hope this helps.

RE: SKY+ Problems - HELP!!

I bought a 12v panel fan, 50mm from Maplins and took the plate off of the back that is for future upgrades, I then stuck it on the back blowing into the box with blue tack, I fed it with 6v to make it run quiet and lo and behold the box fan hardly ever comes on and the Sky box is cold. I used a variable power supply from Maplins. Hope this helps.

RE: Bodge-a-job Blunkett trialling ID cards from Monday

There`s no way I will pay for one, as people have said terrorists will do their work no matter what, this is a way to keep the law abiding in check and we will have to pay for it. No matter what the cost is now it will be the thin end of the wedge and WILL go up each and every year, it has happened with other things so I cannot see this being any dif``. Lets not have them.

RE: Pan E55 optical lead

You can get a pretty good optical lead from B&Q for£9.99, I just got one and it`s ok.
