Which Smart Scart?

colonelgadget (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Friday, 6th August 2004, 17:01

Is there any difference in quality between the various makes and types of smart scart? E.g.Macromaster http://www.icos-tech.com/products.html
basic standard smart scart and Pro Gold version?

;) There are two main qualities that set icos-tech apart from the rest, quality of the product and quality of service. Both are second to none in my experience. Unless anyone knows different.

I think he is referring to Scarts that remove copy protection rather than jusy high quality leads.
I have tried the KTVision one,and the Sonel one.The latter gave me unwanted ghost images that could not be removed.I may have been unlucky or had a faulty lead, but my new KTVision one is as good as the previous one I had from them

I know what he is refering to, maybe you didn`t check out the link. My personal experiance with macro killers built into scart leads, is that they generaly give poor performance.
