Hi We`ve got a pacific 1002w that to be honest has an incredible picture quality for the price, even looks superb and depthy on R1`s.I particularly like that depthy thing thats good on RGB as not usually on others. I think oftem RGB flattens things a bit if you know what I mean on some players.
Is there anything to beat the pacific picture wise at all thats affordable,

I have owned a Pacific 1002 and agree that the quality is great for £30.
However,spend £80ish on a player (not a huge amount more is it) and you`ll notice that the Pacific`s picture is a bit wishy-washy.
Horses for courses though.

Then fire up yer E50 with a decent lead connected and watch your impression of the £80 player die too...

Once I get home tonight my E55 will be connected to my new LCD TV using component leads and progressive scan.

I can`t wait to see all previous impressions of picture quality blown straight out the window ! 8)
