The Proline 2000 is a clone of the Oritron 600, the hack to enable VCD on the Oritron 600 is:

1 - Press [STOP]
2 - Press [MENU]
3 - Press [1]
4 - Press [1-ALL] or try >
5 - Press [OPEN]
6 - Press [1] to enable the VCD function and a confirmation should appear

CD-Rs don`t work on the Oritron 600 so they most proberly won`t work on the Proline 2000. Memorex Platinum CDRW are said to work on the Oritron 600

The ALL button is the INDEX button, which is the button to the right of the pause button. Also you must have a music CD in the tray when you do it
