It actually seems a futile move vern as the 3350 is not much of an upgrade and has the same problem discs, also this years player`s are all being released in a month or 2 with new features.

couldn`t care less about the decoder Dukester, and the trick-play features are just flukey and luck.

It`s actually cause it`s a macro disabled unit! :o)

Does this mean that there are new LG and Aiwa models coming out soon ??

There are definitely new LG`s in the pipeline, but I think they held them off due to the popularity of the 3350.

From what I can gather, they may NOT be hackable, and one will carry a CDR unit.
Can`t see the point of that other than:

1) Replace your hifi CD player with the DVD unit
2) Guarantees CDR/CDRW compatibility.

Dunno about Aiwa, but I`d assume they got a couple in the pipelines too

I think in Australia LG already have the CDR unit on sale, could be wrong but I`m sure I`ve seen this before, looked as hideous as the 3350 !
