I am after a new system and I would like peoples comments and feedback
Here I was I would like in an ideal world
DVD Player must be:
Multi-Region
Mp3
DVD-R
AMP must have
2x Optical in (one for DVD Player and one for Sky+)
5.1 DD and DTS
I don`t want speakers as I have my own to connect.... Both systems I would like in sliver colour.
Surly this is not too much to ask.... I have a very low budget of about 200 UK Pounds.
I would prefair brand names like sony, phillips etc but I guess not on this budget.
Balls in your court... feedback please
the answer is no my player is hyundai and has all above features although i only use some of the my player is a hyundai 320A model region code is 3800 with drawer open and press menu key once then a secret menu appear choose region 0
this player is dts and 5.1 dolby digital (great for wide tv ) ready and plays any format cd / cdr / cd+r / dvd / dvdr /dvd+r / cdrw / mp3 / kodak cd / vcd and any region i have american movies and chinese movies and uk movies which i play on this.
i payed £199.99 when new.
Take a lookin Curry`s.They do a dvd player for £30(not sure about MP3)but there are budget players that play MP3.If you stick to 5.1 rather than 6.1 you will easily come in under budget.I spotted a Yamaha amp in Curry`s that would do you a treat. If you are really lucky on price with the player,a discontinued model amp with 6.1 is not out of the queation

Yep, it can be done!!
Richer Sounds is your first port of call-They do a Pioneer Tuner/Amp that has three rear and 1 front inputs and has the connecectivity you desire. It`s got DD and DTS too, and providing you aren`t putting it in a huge room, it`s a decent performer. I bought one in black for 99 quid earlier this year, the silver one was £139 then
DVD player-take your pick..You`ll find models on the net from £30 upwards with the spec on you want-Richer Sounds is worth a look too.
