RF to AV in - Portable DVD???

numskull (Competent) posted this on Wednesday, 29th December 2004, 17:19

My son has bought a 7" DVD player from Boots this afternoon believing that it had a TV tuner built-in - that convinced the wife!

Anyone know of an external TV tuner that can be plugged into the AV socket of said portable DVD - if not, back it goes!!! :D

What I do with my portable DVD (on the very rare occasions I actualy want to watch TV) is to use a feed from a Freeview box, your unit should come with a set of cables to connect & the manual will state how you set the unit up as a monitor.

Very few portable DVD`s have built in tuners TTBOMK, I can only think of 1 or 2 as sold by Allcam here.
