Page 1 of Please, please help me...I just cant hack my Samsung-511

I have done the steps which u can find on this site over and over again but i just cant hack it...
I wanna copy my DVD`s on VHS but the screen keeps going dark to light...i dont know what to do anymore...
could anybody please tell me in detail what to do because i might have looked something over....I would REALLY appreciate it...

I`m afraid the hack doesn`t disable Macrovision on the 511, only on the 709 and earlier models. On the 511, the hack is for multi-region playback *only*.

why it says it also disables Macrovision on this site then???

It actually says:

"On various Samsung models this hack will also disable Macrovision"

It doesn`t say it removes Macrovision on ALL models listed.

All is not lost, though - you could always buy an external Macrovision remover if you want to back up your DVDs to tape.

Actually, it the hack does disable macrovision howver, the video output on the DVD MUST be set to Video.

Not RGB
Not S-Video.

try it to test it etc etc .
