Page 1 of Problem with Multi-region Tosh sd220

My multi-region Toshiba sd220 suddenly stopped playing R1 disc`s , I now get the error 'Disc playback unauthorized' , any ideas what might have happened????

Same thing happened to mine.Around about a year after buying it"multiregion" , it reset itself.
When i went into the setup menu some of the language selections and other options seemed to show corrupt text.
In the end i reflashed the bios of the machine with one i found on the net.
Alls ok again.
I still have the disk and file i used to make it.
Its around 5mb and has instructions as how to make boot disc with nero.
