Just bought the Philips DVDR610 and immediately had to upgrade it to patch 26.
Often when I press Standby to turn the machine off it goes into standby and then turns straight back on sometimes turning on my TV I assume through the scart.
Anyone else get this or know what causes it?

Can`t remember the heading but there has been another thread (or 3) relating to problems with the Philips DVD recorder and this scart switching.

Well took it back today and got a Sony RDR-GX210 and so far am happier with this.

pity all of the Sony RDR-GX210 models have a fault with RGB passthrough then!
