Page 1 of Panasonic DMR-ES10EB DVD recorer

I bought the above yesterday and successfully burned off an R- disc of a match I had stored on SkyPlus.

It played ok on the Panasonic but won`t play on my PC or any of my other DVD players.

The other players have in the past all played copy discs.

I`m no expert so any help would be appreciated.

You did not say if it was finalized or not? Has to be for any other machine to read.

Does the Panasonic DMR-ES10EB DVD remote have an eject button on it ? the bloody E55 doesn`t and it still iritates me.

It doesn`t.

I have the E50 and it doesnt have an eject button either. Think about it though, if you are wanting to eject a disc you would be getting up anyway!

I have an E50 and an E55 and also a Panny DVD player (I forget the model number). The DVD player does have an eject button on the remote.
Strange.
How does the ES10 measure up?

Hi. I looked this model up on dvdrhelp.com and in the comments it had 1 bloke saying that it did NOT record in widescreen.

Is he right?

Am tempted to buy one if it does record in widescreen - is £165 delivered a good price?

I can`t comment on the DMR-ES10, but the E50 and E55 will record in widescreen, but only onto DVD-RAM, not onto DVD-R.

I would guess that the DMR-ES10 is the same.
