Page 1 of HELP PS2 dvd

Does anyone know how to record DVD`s onto VHS via a PS2? I`ve heard it`s possible but I`ve had a go and cannot seem to crack it. If anyone knows how to do it I would be very gratefull if you could let us know.

I think you may need to chip the PS2 to do this, I`m not 100%, but going by this site (www.gamefreax.de) who offer a solder in `macrovision-fix-chip` I would say it is the case.
Did you hear that it was possible to defeat macrovision without any sort of mod?

I`m sure an add on box has been mentioned in these forums before, which doesn`t kill your warranty, and is about £20.

The Datel DVD Region X gadget can enable RGB and multi region......
It`s about £20 and plugs into Memory card slot, you have to use a boot disk each time to get those features to work though.

CHEERS FOR ALL THOSE THAT ANSWERED. MY MATE CAN COPY TO VHS USING HIS OLD PLAYSTATION 1 SCART CABLE. I DIDN`T BELIEVE HIM UNTIL I SAW IT MYSELF. I WENT HOME AND TRIED IT AND GUESS WHAT, IT DOESN`T WORK ON MINE????????? WEIRD

SUPPPOSE I`LL HAVE TO FORK OUT A FEW QUID AND GET A PLUG IN.

And we`ll all need to fork out for some ear plugs after all that SHOUTING!!
