about two weeks to replace it????? Thats the way the trade is now. As there is know longer any profit in flat screens/HC you can not keep stock. No one wants to be left with stuff you have to sell at a loss. Case in point. If you bought one of the new Yamaha RX-V4600 amps off me. £1000. That have just come out, it would be september before you get it. Yamaha keep stock tight, (to tight) so they will only suply people like me. Web sites advertise amp at price they can not keep or get it at, or make a viable profit on. (Please come back to me on this. There will be some big net (and high street) boys go in next year. Promise.)
You come to me as I have amp, but you want it at net price. I no longer stock amp that I make no living on. You get no amp. Yamaha sell no amps. We all lose.
Rant over (and I don`t expect you to belive me BTW)
All tjhe best,

I have the Hitachi :) Had it about 2 week, its fantastic. Picture and sound quality are really impressive - even the feed from an analogue TV ariel looks good. HD compliant, loads of inputs, all the right boxes are ticked, and it`s motorised stand is a great bonus.
Bought mine from http://www.av-euronics.co.uk/. Like everywhere stock is limited, but got a good price and very good service.

:) HI wad today I have seen the 32ld7200 runing on dvd only, well the pictures were just the best i ve seen yet on a lcd. But the man in the shop was saying not so good on analogue but no lcd,s are.If I go down this road I will be using analogue/ sky most of the time with the odd dvd.How do you compare your lcd on analogue/sky feeds to your old crt tv.
many thanks :B :B

I don`t think the picture from a terrestrial analogue signal is any worse than on my Phillips 28". Up close its maybe not as good, but from the chair or couch a few feet away its fine.
RGB scart is excellent, really good picture. Just got a Panasonic DMREH50 recorder with Prog Scan, but not tried it yet. Will post an update once I have.
Sky is getting installed next week so I`ll post an update on that as well.
I got a demo off of a high def feed when I was looking at it in the shop - that really is something to look forward to.
Heres a thread from avforums about the 32LD7200, worth a look.

Sorry for the delay. The Prog Scan feed from the Panny is fanastic, really shows off what the set can do. Very happy with the Sky+ feed too, I was a little worried beforehand but no need to be - both picture and sound are spot on.
Incidentally you get a free portable DVD with 7" screen at the moment, until the end of August I think. Its a nice little machine, keeps the kids quiet in the car anyway.
