Are There any DVD players which are Macro-free ?

gezvader (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 30th July 2005, 23:35

Are there any dvd players on the market at the moment that are without macrovision ?

Or ones that can have the macro disabled via a hack etc.

In the UK .

Gez

the liteon dvd recorders are easily made macro free....you can get the 5002 recorder
from ebuyer for £99.99

it`s simple to do...just point your browser towards http://ccgi.mgillespie.plus.com/liteon/smf/ and register, then read
some of the posts which will lead you to the necessary downloads
and info to make the machine macro free.
