VCD problems on Samsung 709

Help
Why can`t I get VCD`s to work on my 709, I have quite a few that have been purchased and none of them work on my DVD player thay work fine on my PC. Could it be something to do with the Multiregion Hack??
All help would be appreciated.

i own a samsung 709 ( which has multiregion remote hack ) had mine
over a year now & just purchased star wars trilogy and the play fine
may be if u havent tried check www.709online.com they may be able to help
