potable dvd player battery life

Hi there my kids both have ingersoll potable dvd players bought for them as presents about 6 months ago , they have only used them about 3 times . The problem is when we are in the car they start watching movies and the battery only lasts about 30 - 45 min , both batteries have ben fully charged but it still happens , anyone any ideas please

The trick with most batteries of this type is to have them well charged up just in time for you to walk out of the door.

The other thing you should do is make sure they are run down flat after use & that means playing them until the screen goes blank & the disc stops turning. Store in a discharged state.

I don`t know the rated time of your model but you should be looking for about 2 hours for a battery. Capacity\playtime will drop off with time.

To (possibly) resurrect the batteries, charge them up fully play them until they are exhausted as per above repeat 2 or 3 times.

Did you not get a car power kit to run off the cigar lighter? ;)



I quite like the Helpdesk people in a benevolent (as opposed to malevolent) way as they do some valuable work in preventing us being inundated by every halfwit who can work a phone.
