bluelaser - 888 review

trickii (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Friday, 27th January 2006, 15:14

I was looking for a high spec DVD player which would run a computer screen or projector via a DVD.Thinking outside the box I read a lot of interesting reviews on a karoke machine or home entertainment DVD called a BLUELASER-888.The new model is apparently taking the DVD home entertainment market by storm.Eventually I bought one and feel pritty happy with my purchase so far.But I have some questions? Who makes them? Who services them? manufactures site? I am told they are a high quality Japaneese manufacturer reboxing Pioneer equipment which is very reliable and is boxed to withstand knocks.

Has anyone reviewed this product? ;)

Well from the information I have received so far is that this machine is a reboxed Samsung machine put together by Samsung supplier DTS http://www.dtsinfo.co.kr.Sold in Europe as Bluelaser and in the states the equivilent would be CAVS DVD-203G BLK http://www.cavsusa.com or http://www.scdg.com/dvd-203gblk.html
;)

Do you by any chance have the default parental password for this player?

Its not 3308, 9999 or 0000 and I`m stuck with a machine I bought secondhand that that I cant unlock.

BTW much better than a KAM 500000
