PHILLIPS DVDR3305 +RW DVDS WON`T FINALISE
I`ve recorded some stuff from video to DVD+RW media using the Philips DVDR3305, and used the "Make Compatible" function so it should be usable on other DVD players, as stated in the manual. However I can`t play the disc on my Panasonic SA-HT520 player, as there is no option to finalise a +RW disc on the Philips.
Any suggestions, as I don`t really want to be using +R discs all the time?
Thanks,
Belgrave

You don`t finalise +RW.
Maybe its the media itself that you are using that the Panny doesn`t like. Does the disc play in another (el cheapo) player?
My job got a lot less stressfull when I realised I hate my customers.

Works on the cheapy Goodmans so it`s a problem with my Panasonic then... no way round it then - I`ll have to use +R discs or -R discs. Anybody else got problems with the Panasonic and are there any solutions?
thanks,

If you give your Philips manual a detailed read there will be a mention of how to overcome this problem that involves pressing 1 or 2 when you eject or load a disc,or some similar method.
Its a while since I used a Philips, but I had to do that to allow discs to play in my old Panasonic player
