Well I`m going to stick my neck out here and take a wild guess that they are widescreen movies? What does it say on the back of the package?
what films are they?

Most probably the film you are trying to look is a 6:9 format.

Am considering buying an LG3200E could you tell me how do you find the quality of video, audio etc.. on this player??

Much appreciate yr opinion.

David

Hey mate

I myself was considering buying the LG DVD-3200e, and one of the best places to get info. on any LG model is www.lgdvd.co.uk . Excellent site, loads of information.

One thing I will say is that, instead of the DVD-3200e, I bought the LG DVD-4710, which apparently has slightly different parts to the 3200e, making the 4710 a little better in picture and sound. Although I`d doubt the difference is very noticable !

All the reviews of the 3200e state that its a brilliant machine. However, I believe that that particular model has been on the market for over a year now, so it might be worth looking for something just a little newer.

By the way, last week Richer Sounds (www.richersounds.com) had the multiregion LG DVD-3200 for £119. An absolute steal for a bargain player.

Hope this helps...

Brian

Dave, think you mean 16:9 (1.85:1 - yeah I know it`s really 1.77, but try finding five films with that ratio!) or do you watch your widescreen with the set tipped on one side & picture rotated 90°?

Wot is that then? Slenderscreen, Thinscreen, Tallscreen......;-)
