Page 1 of Which of these plays CD-R & reviews please

I have just returned my Samsung M105 to the shop after finding it doesn`t play CD-R. Which of these others do you know definately do & any comments on which I should buy ?
PHILIPS 612
PHILIPS 622
PHILIPS 756
Sony DVP-N300
Sanyo DVD7201
Schneider DV885S

All help really appreciated, don`t let me make the Samsung mistake again !

It would be best to ask in the shop when you buy it, the sony definatly plays them (they sell it in comet with 3 dvds £200). Would recommend the sony over the philips for sure, not sure about the others.

I dont know about the Schneider DV855S but I have a Schneider DVD 855 and that will play both CD-R and CD-RW
And has features beyond most more expensive players
Only downside is it doesnt have optical output to Dolby decoder only analogue coaxial but you cant really tell the difference
