Component cables from high street

bowfer (Elite) posted this on Tuesday, 27th February 2007, 17:16

I don`t have time to get component cables off the internet,so where`s the best place to get them off the high street ?
I would assume Comet/Currys will rip me off.
Argos ?
John Lewis ?
Specialist shop ?
I want decent ones.

I usually buy from beyondhifi.com,but their website seems to have crashed. :(

Companies that have p**sed me off so much that I will never use them again and I hope you dont either....
Jacks Fish & Chips of Cambridge ridiculously overpriced and overpackaged chips. £1.20 for a stupidly small portion of chips - they need to go up north for a good lesson in fish and chips
Alloy Bodies of Manchester - The Grand Daddy & Benchmark for shockingly poor customer service.
Capital Bank Leasing who are part of [B]BOS
& are f**ing useless & struggle to action the smallest request but are fantastically efficient at taking money out of my account
[B]Abbey National
Absolutely diabolical service - how hard is it to change £60 of coins into notes????
....more coming soon no doubt.....

Pretty sure you have a counterpart up here ???
Remind me of what I`ll need.

I think they do some decent stuff - gold plated, oxygen free, low cholesterol, etc.

It`s not all unbranded stuff for radio hams (though, there is a lot of that, admittedly)

It takes minutes, how can you have the time to buy them from the High Street then.

Shame you`ve written off the `net because Keene Electronics do all kinds of AV cabling and equipment.

(www.keene.co.uk) - I haven`t done a hyperlink because Norton Security buggers me about every time I want to do `em.
