i am thinking of upgrading from my matsui dvd110. i would like to spend less than £500 and it would have to be hack able by remote any suggestions.

500 Quid, Christ Id want a car for that money ;)


Why not go for a Cyberhome 512/528 or a Dansai 852 and go down the boozer with the change?

The 512 needs a firmware downgrade for region, macro hack. The other 2 are remote hackable.

Buy a Philips 722 and some more discs and then go down the pub !.
Cyberhome players are good but reliability is a bit suspect.
