Picture Too Far Left On W/S
Does anybody know how to set the picture geometry on the Goodmans W288NS widescreen television. The picture from my dvd play is too far left on Region 2 and even worse on region 1. Please help.

I have the same problem, tho not really as bad i think.
Sony WS with a cyberhome player i believe its the latter that has the problem,so it could be your player?

This is generally to do with your TV, you will probably find it is worse with RGB.
I am trying to find out how to adjust my amstrad tv, I doubt it is your dvd player!!

Interesting, my Goodmans also has the same problem, ie too far left, I wonder if they all do it.
Gingerone, did you ever get a digitheatre? or are you waiting for Santa to bring one?

Hi Dave, I`m getting it straight after chrimbo(fingers crossed).
As long as there are no money catastrophies before then!!!
You will find that most TV`s have this problem as they are set to composite signals in the factory, engineers can set the picture straight for RGB, but seeing as I don`t know any engineers and I am unwilling to pay for it, I will just have to live with it!!

I have posted before regarding this, does anyone know if service menus are available from the handset on the Panasonic TX32DK1? My image is left and have come to the conclusion it is my sony player as this works on another tv! DVD is a sony DAVS300, The T2 and S/wars Ep 1 THX optimizers are shifted left about 3/4inch.
TIA
