I`ve got a budget of around £400 for a 28" widescreen. Any suggestions?
I am considering the Panasonic tx28dk1 - nicam only will do as I have a home cinema kit

your best bet would be to try www.shopsmart.com as they compare different companies,you could also try www.empiredirect.com.
I have the 28"DK1. I paid £549.00 about six months ago and its a good set.

S-video at the front along side composite scart and phono in
Phono out at rear as well. Picture is good in relativity to price. Sound is excellent,set the bass lower than the treble, it picks up everything. Comes with matching cabinet but this does not really hold much room. Altough deceptive, as slimmer than the width of the set, thus making it look bigger.
It manages, 16:9, wide, 14:9, just and Zoom to cater for all pictures. I cant falt it however, if I were you i would look for a flat screen as the similar Panny models have come down in price and new range just out.

I bought a Philips Widescreen 28PW6006/05 for £319+ £27 P+P ...It is superb check it out at http://www.unbeatable.co.uk ...it comes without a stand which suited me fine...but it is great..go take a look
