Logix 3000 and the Sound volume

grimerz (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Friday, 21st December 2001, 15:56

May I ask if there is any way/hack to improve the sound capabilites on the Logix 3000 please. On many DVD`s I have to have the volume selected on the Logix itself to 16(maximum) AND the sound on the television up to 40+ !!

regards

Grimerz

Check the faq on www.scan.co.uk for the sc-2000.There is a basic remote hack to increase the volume. There was a batch of players that had this problem.Logix and sc2000 share the same manufacturer.

When we had a logix about a year ago we had an old tele and had probs as sound out is low.
If you press in sequence.

SET UP
STOP
STEP
ANGLE

You should then see RF flash up on left top of screen this is a bit louder in this mode.
To put it back to origional LINE MODE press

SET UP
STOP
STEP
TITLE

This Line mode is supposed to be a down code from 5.1 so you hear more of channels through two, but it is rather quiet.
Hope these work, all the best Mark.
