Page 1 of Shrek problem

I`ve a Lecson 900 and I am experiencing problems with Shrek R2 on chapters 11 to 17 (it pixelates and freezes), then it plays ok. Anyone else got this problem or is the disc faulty?

I found I had the exact same problem. Only with certain region 1 DVD`s.
The way I solved it..............Well.............It seems certain DVD`s possibly don`t like getting too hot. I had My DVD player, VCR and Satelite Receiver all on top of each other. Once I seperated them out and made room in between each component all was fine.

The way to prove if you have the same problem is to jump straight to these chapters when your machine is cold one morning and see if you have the same problem. If so try the dvd on another player - could be the dvd (although unlikely)

Exchanged Shrek at Asda Yesterday and it now plays fine!
