Page 1 of Help - Proline 1000 won`t play Region 2 American Psycho

My player is 12 months old and copes well with Region 1 and 2 discs. Is there a new software protection for Region 2 similar to the one on the Region 1 Patriot?

I have tried two copies of the disk from my video rental store but both lock the machine at the load stage.

Yo dude. You should buy American Psycho on Video CD or Super Video CD. It is unedited unlike the British release and no problem with region codes as Video CD and Super Video CD don`t use them.

The Picture quality may not be as good as DVD but is far more better than VHS and SVHS.
