Page 1 of Picture Flickers with RGB

I have a Philips 622 dvd and a 28" sharp TV. The picture is perfect when I use the TV`s Av1 scart but the picture has a noticable flicker when I use the RGB scart. I have tried more than one philips player and got the same problem - non philips players work OK. any suggestions?

it could be that the output on the scart is not RGB, but Y,Cr,Cb as it syncs on the green input and the Cr has no sync.

Thanks for the reply. I called philips re: the problem and they confirmed the scart output on the 622 is RGB.
