Morning all, I just got an EEE PC this morning and am trying to work it all out.
any other users out there that can recommend any tools i ought to download? or anything else like that?
so far i have managed to revolve the screen, and that is it..

I assume you`re using Linux on it?

This thread should keep you going for a bit :)

what do you want to do specifically? Apart from web, they`re not really powerful enough for much more are they? Banshee or amarok may fill your needs for mp3 player, don`t know what comes with it.

vlc for movies

i got an XP model.. i think its an education centric one..
i dont know much about it all to be honest.. i got it free, which was a bonus...
I have all the MS office s*** on it, windows media player and that.. I intend to strip it down like the dwarf at my bro`s stag do

Be prepared for a wait. The EEE is just a glorified word processor.

Its great for carrying around in your handbag, doing a few documents and emails, but it really isnt cut out for much more.
