Page 1 of PHILIPS DVD PICTURE FLICKER WITH RGB

I have a Philips 622 dvd player when I connect it to the RGB scart on my TV I get a slight flickering on the picture. This disapears when I use the AV1 scart. I know its not my player because I`ve tried 3 philips players and they all flicker with RGB. I`ve tried other players with the same TV and they work OK. Any ideas?

As your philips player been adjusted in the menu setup to state its going through to RGB and not SVid or composite?

good point. if only the player had a menu that would allow the output to be changed(RGB, Composite etc..) the problem might not exist.
