Hitachi dvp305e - Do any CDr`s or CD-RW work?

Has anybody come across any type of cd-r or cdrw that will work with this dvd player? I know they aren`t supposed to read them but thought somebody may be able to help...

Princo CD-RWs work well.

Princo CD-Rs are also supposed to work, but I think you`ll have more joy with the CD-RWs.
