Page 1 of HELP PLEASE

I get my TV channels through Virgin Media and Tivo. I have never had an outside aerial since I moved here 3 and half years ago. I do not even know if there is an outside aerial. My TV is 8 years old and has the old fittings but I hope to update it in September to a HD model. I recently bought a Tevion MD 80032 from ebay. I set in up with my Tivo through scart leads. I had a picture but no sound and no matter what I did I could not get any sound. So I reset it to factory settings thinking this might help. Big mistake, now the DVD recorder is scanning for channels through an aerial not the Tivo box so it is not picking up any channels at all. I need to reset the DVD recorder so that I can pick up the channels through the Tivo box. Can anyone help me do this. I can follow step by step instructions. I want to be able to record some programmes saved on Tivo onto disc

Your recorder is trying to pick up an RF signal, you just need to change the video input to scart/av on your recorder. You should be able to do this in the recorder menu or via a button on the remote.

Edit - If you open the menu on the recorder, move down or along to Video, you should be able to change the input setting from there.

images.reviewer.co.uk/smileys/smiley-smile.gif Thanks for your help. My remote is a bit different from the 1 in the manual. I did not have the CATV choice. I now do have it working and I have sound 2 So it is perfect. Not want to buy another 1 when I get my new TV in September.
