I have just seen one for sell in Comet for £179 are they any good as I was thinking of purchasing one. It seems very reasonable considering all the features.Has any one tryed playing mp3s on one and if so what is the sound quality like?
It looks pretty good, I`ve just been looking on the Comet website.
If it`s anything like the Toshiba 210 and 110 it`ll be superb. I read somewhere that the 200 is multi-region from the box though, unlike previous models. Can anybody confirm if this is the case? If so, it`s a must buy.
I got mine delivered yesterday - Is a huge improvement asthetically over the 210 - and its NOT multiregion straight from the box - as with all Toshiba DVDs it need a hardware mod ;-(
Picture and sound appear upto Toshs usuall high standard and as yet nothing to complain about.
Where did you get your`s from GSM?
Also, something I`m not too sure about, but do the Tosh`s play RCE disks without kicking up a fuss?
Does it play SVCDs & VCDs (not one or the other, but both) with no lip sync problems. On the French site I believe they said it played SVCDs. Toshiba said the 210 would not. It would play them but with lip sync problems.
Ive not tried any VCDs or SVCDs yet - However it does "say" it will play them along with DVD-Rs ;-) - RCE depends on who does your mods i think mine says it will play RCE but worth asking b4 u buy. ( Not that i have one to test it with ! )
As for where i got it from the fools sent me a region 2 only player when i ordered a multiregion one - So am waiting for them replace it ( Due Wednesday 27th ) before recommending / saying where i got it from - sorry folks hope you understand ( If they mess me around then i dont want to have directed people to them now do i )
Cheers
