RGB sockets

Iain Rosie (Harmless) posted this on Friday, 22nd March 2002, 13:25

Does anyone out there have a list of widescreen tv`s which have 2 rather than just 1 scart socket which supports RGB?

Alternatively a solution using a switch box which doesn`t require me getting off my bum and flicking a switch behind my telly! ;)

cheers

Iain

Hitachi have some, They are flat screen, 3 scart (2 RGB) and support NTSC playback, have all the auto/manual wide modes etc

C28WF530N 28" Nicam
C28WF532N As above but virtual dolby surround
C28WF535N As the 532N but with onboard dolby 5.1 decoding
C32WF535N 32" version of 28 535N above

The 32 535N was featured in a group test in a mag approx 2 mths ago
and it got excellent review for pic & sound (it equalled the acclaimed Philips 6515 model)
Curry`s sell the 28" 532 instore for £599, however they have a special
on-line price of £489 inc vat & del to your door !!!! www.currys.co.uk
Take a look at one in your local Curry`s, they are very attractive inc nice stand, very flat look with great pic, A joke of a price at £489
www.unbeatable.co.uk sell the same model for £550ish
The 32" model is arround £750ish if you can find one online, Otherwise it`s £950ish at Currys
It`s the only "cheap" tv I`ve found that has 2 RGB`s, The Hitachi website www.hitachi.co.uk has just been revised and has pics and you can download the full user manuals, I`ve got the brochure which clearly states they ALL have 2 RGB and support NTSC
