So, what devices are we using for streaming these days :)
I primarily use a Shield Tv, (2017) but also have a Chromecast with google tv, the CCwGtv is decent especially for the money, but the shield is many MANY times better, faster and just works with any medi I chuck at it lol..
Mostly used for emby/plex streaming...

I have an old Fire TV Box that I have upstairs, but my main TV I use a 4K Fire Stick that works really great. But then I don't use it for anything other than Prime/Netflix/Disney/YouTube/iPlayer.
When I need to stream from my NAS, I just use my TV with DLNA, the browser isn't great but it's good enough.

I'm similar. An ageing Fire TV box that I can connect to 5.1 amp (that is so old it doesn't have HDMI) for the usual suspects Prime, netflix, Disney, etc. and I've got a couple of chromecast for occasional use, mainly YouTube.

I use an LG Smart TV mostly, but I have a PS4 and old Fire TV box if it decides it's not working...

I'd be quite interested if anybody uses any sort of dedicated music streaming setup. Obviously there is the ubiquitous Sonos but does anybody use anything else? ATM I'm just using a bunch of echo dots around the gaff connected to amps and speakers as 'end points' which work well with Spotify Connect.
Ultimately I'd quite fancy a Roon setup (quite expensive) with a dedicated streamer - possibly Raspberry Pi/Nuc based (sj mentioning Nuc reminded me of this), or maybe just buy an off the shelf streamer. The idea would be to stream lossless CD quality music (Amazon have just upgraded their service to lossless at no extra cost).

I mostly listen to music whilst working (I just play Mp3s over the network from my NAS), in the car (then I just use my iPhone), running (from my watch) or last and actually least... in the lounge (vinyl!).

My PC mostly.
Fire stick for sports (cough)
Too many adults in one house so music, though it'll more likely be podcasts, is via Amazon Prime or possibly Spotify via my phone and Bluetooth earbuds.
You lot seems to be more teched up than me but I don't feel the lack of anything.
Apart from maybe a PS4 which is due to lack of space in my man cupboard.
Though a thorough tidy could sort that.

And a Synology NAS with 4x3TB WD Reds.
I have a good test for anyone who wants to test their ears properly in an ABX test.
Nevermind lossless v lossy, it will show the snakeoil audiophiles 'mp3s are s***' brigade how much crap they speak... Even lower bitrate ..
