Try www.silicon-group.co.uk, they do mail order. No idea about P&P but their DVD-R start at £1.69 up to £2.50 for DVD-RW. HTH :-)

At the moment DVD-R value and compatibility don`t really go hand in hand. Proper branded DVD-R discs like Verbatims will play in most standalone players, but they cost over £4 each. At the other extreme you can get things like BulkPAQ discs for about £1.50, but they are crap and hardly work on anything apart from PC DVD drives.
The best compromise I`ve seen is represented by DataSafe branded discs, which seem to work in a lot of players (including the PS2) and still cost less than £2. If you want maximum compatibility, though, you`ll have to open your wallet a bit wider and get the Verbatim ones.

the princo white top general use work well on the ps2 , and the data safe gold top , the problem being is that the lower priced ones are hard to get . when i say hard to get that means every time you go to the silicon group they have diffrent low cost dvd rs on sale. the ones that are generally available are the data safe blue tops which sometimes work on the ps2 and sometimes dont. as the last post advises the only true good working dvdr are the dearer ones.
