can anyone tell me if there is a dvd player that resumes playback from the exact position when you turn the power off and want to watch the rest of the movie later,if so can you tell me the best place to buy it in the uk and Ireland.Thanks guys.

My Pioneer DV-530 has a resume function so if you power off the player ,whilst leaving the disc in, it will restart where you left off next time you turn it on.

The player`s a couple of years old know, but I would imagine the newer Pioneer models will still have this feature.
