Page 1 of Scan DVD 2500 Does it play DVD-R Okay ??

Hi

Just wondering if the Scan plays DVD-R okay or can anyone recommend
anything else that will play DVD-Rs Okay..?

have a look at the last paragraph in the `Features and build quality` section. This any help?

I don`t think that does, as DVD-R is a slightly different format again.

If anyone has an old DVD-R they could send me, I`m more than happy to try it out and amend the review accordingly.

It will be dvd-r but if you use the crap spindle type media it can be a bit funny.Basically it wont owrk on cheap media.We found it works with certain branded dvd-rw as well but thats not part of the official spec.

So what DVD Player does play DVD-Rs in the spec of the player ??

Maybe I should get an Xbox and get it chipped supposedly there
is a VCD/SVCD player coming out via the enigmah team,,,
